Must be flexible-Hours and shifts may vary depending on need. Working under the supervision of the RN, this position ensures the safety and well-being of the patie! nt who has been assessed by a clinician as needing 1:1 care through observation and continuous monitoring; may be requested to assist nursing with patient routine activities of daily living. The sitter will provide the highest quality care while emulating the Core Values of the Standards of Excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must provide superior customer service including effective listening and observation skills. Must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English well. Must be able to quickly make decisions to report patient condition with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to physically assist with patient movement including pushing, pulling and lifting. High school or equivalent required. CPR required, Certified Nurse Assistant preferred. Pervious experience in Medical or behavioral healthcare and understanding of Substance Abuse/AAA preferred. Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as a CORI background! records check.
