Description: The Edinburg Center is at present recruited Licensed Practical Nurse - DD Services right now, this occupation will be placed in Massachusetts. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Part time position (20hours) available in a residential group home located in Bedford providing nursing services such as implementa! tion of health related systems including, but not limited, to ostomoy care, wound care, health care plans, oral health protocols, and foley catheter care. The LPN will be responsible for assessing client's basic health status and implementing nursing interventions as outlined by superior licensed professionals. He/She will collaborate, communicate, and cooperate, as appropriate, with other health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care. The LPN will work closely with an RN and other direct care staff at the program. Schedule will consist of 4 or 5 shifts per week including one weekend shift, flexible hours.
Qualifications: LPN and at least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Valid driver's license required. CPR certification required at time of hire.
