University of Massachusetts Medical School/UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, Massachusetts. The Department of Medicine at UMass Worce! ster, is currently seeking physician-scientists in multiple subspecialties. UMass Worcester is located in central Massachusetts and includes a 67-acre integrated health science facility and freestanding university-based academic health science campus consisting of the Medical School, Graduate School of Nursing, and UMass Memorial Health Care, the largest not-for-profit health care system in Central New England. As a consequence of our expanded institutional commitment to translational research including increase in research space, and our institutional CTSA support, The Department of Medicine is recruiting clinician-scientists with training in Cardiology, Diabetes, Dermatology, Hospital Medicine, Renal Medicine, Preventive/Behavioral Medicine, Geriatrics, Hepatology, Palliative Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Rheumatology, and Oncology. Career track and rank will be commensurate with experience and credentials. Responsibilities will include the combination of clinical/translation! al research, basic science research, clinical duties, and teac! hing of undergraduate medical school students, residents and fellows as appropriate. Candidates must have an MD, and be BC/BE in Medicine or their specialty, and have a proven track record of performing translational and/or clinical research.
