Clinical Pharmacy Specialist needed for e! xciting Pharmacy Informatics opportunity. This position will work closely with Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Staff, Information Systems and appropriate ancillary departments and will require excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of healthcare institutional experience as a Registered Pharmacist with distribution and decentralized services in patient care areas. Experience with implementation of systems as Project Coordinator or a key member of an implementation team is highly desirable.
You will be expected to competently propose drug therapy recommendations in disease state management; make recommendations for treatment plans in various areas of care, including but not limited to: Pediatric, Geriatric, Psychiatric and Adult care; and serve as an expert resource for communication between the CPOE project team members as it relates to developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining the medication/solution! component of the CPOE system. Clinical order entry system exp! erience in Meditech is highly desirable.
