The Clinical Affairs Project Manager III is responsible for managing high visibility, complex projects for the clinical service areas of the Office of Clinical Affai! rs. Projects often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Responsible for project prioritization, initiation, planning, management and closure. Must be familiar with system scope, project management documentation standards, project team roles and responsibilities. Responsible for the development and maintenance of all project documentation. Responsible for assembling the project team, facilitating project team meetings, overseeing individual roles and responsibilities, identifying needed resources, identifying issues, managing risk and change, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality and compliance standards and reviews project deliverables. Serves as Office of Clinical Affairs project liaison to Public Partnerships department. Works closely with project business owners and executive sponsors. Communicate! s project status updates to stakeholders, including senior man! agement.

Key Functions/Responsibilities:
Manages high visibility, complex projects for appropriate areas of the Office of Clinical Affairs Coordinates major work deemed of critical importance (e.g. regulatory requests, cost savings initiatives). Collaborates with executive sponsor and/or business owner and finance to develop business case and ROI, when appropriate. Facilitates intra-departmental, cross-departmental and cross-organizational project teams. Develops and maintains project documentation including, at minimum, a project charter, project checklist, project plan, project team directory, communication plan, risk management plan, change management plan, issues log, meeting minutes and agendas. Provides project status updates to senior management and other stakeholders. Generates and analyzes standard reports, including the preparation of summary and supporting documents for internal and external constituents. Researches best practices/literature s! earch to find external benchmarks. Responsible for ongoing vendor oversight/management, as needed. Coordinates responses and reporting to identified external state agencies. Serves as liaison between Office of Clinical Affairs project liaison and Public Partnerships Other responsibilities as directed. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.

Supervision Exercised:
Capable of managing 10 â€" 20 FTEs on project teams

Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field Preferred/Desirable:
Master’s degree in Health Related/Public Health field small;" experience:
5+ years healthcare/managed care experience 5+ years project management experience Preferred/Desirable:
Experience with Medicaid recipients and community services. Experience in project development and/or health policy Experience with FACETS, CCMS, InterQual or ! other healthcare database
