Pediatric Nurse Manager
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the quality of nursing
care for pediatric and adult patients coming to ! the office. The Manager directs the implementation of nursing care, which
includes, but is not limited to, assessing patient needs, setting
priorities and maintaining adequate staffing. The Manager
is a teacher and a role model for the clinical staff under his/
her supervision. The Manager must be proficient in telephone
triage and nursing procedures, in addition to maintaining an
efficiently running office.
Education and/or Experience : Bachelor's degree from a four-
year college or university preferred; five years in a management
role, preferably in a hospital or group practice setting; strong
clinical experience in pediatric medicine required, additional experience in adult medicine a plus; demonstrated managerial
and leadership abilities; or, equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current RN licensur! e
in Massachusetts; and current BCLS.
Other Qu! alifications: Participation in relevant CEU
programs; maintenance of requirements for licensure; and
CPR certification annually.
