The Clinical Nurse Specialist uses their clinical and medical background specific to diagnosis and procedures to b! uild a strategic plan to scale our ultrasound adoption to current non-users. Direct our market development and education through workshops, society collaborations, and industry key opinion leaders. Must have a multi-dimensional skill set to handle clinical, sales, and market development opportunities in addition to developing business regionally. Generates product awareness and market demand for FUJIFILM SonoSite products in the point of care business segment. Must be able to effectively communicate clinical value proposition to key thought leaders, residency/fellowship programs, and luminary/KOL physicians. Perform business development, scalable education, and customer retention activities.

This individual will carefully analyze the point of care market by segment and create an executable market development plan in conjunction with marketing. Supports tradeshow and other marketing activities and will provide product demonstration and support to the sales organizat! ion in variety of settings. Creates, executes and is responsib! le for the FUJIFILM SonoSite strategy of ultrasound adoption within the point of care market.

Key Responsibilities:
Scale ultrasound adoption of FUJIFILM SonoSite products through education, business development activities, networking, and educating users, departments, and institutions on the value of SonoSite’s hand carried compact ultrasound systems and tools specific to the POC Market.

Provides product demonstration support which may include scanning patients or other volunteers.

Create a scalable adoption process and education for the non-user to integrate ultrasound techniques.

Support tradeshows, product launches and other marketing activities.

Serves as a key liaison to physician groups, societies and other organizations related to the development of POC ultrasound

Liaison and collaborate with regional/international team to develop ultrasound

Support special projects as necessary.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a MUST
• Experience as a physician educator (workshops, courses, seminars etc)
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to high level administrators and physicians
• Strategic thinker that will help scale our ultrasound adoption to current non-users
• Self motivated, works independently while collaborating with others on the team
• Direct market development (education) via all forms (digital, workshops, society collaborations, KOLs etc.)
• 5+ years related work experience in high intensity hospital setting (ICU, ER, OR)
• Prior experience in field sales or clinical applications preferred, 3+ yrs preferred
• Ultrasound scanning skills highly valued
• Experienced with MS Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to create and deliver high quality ultrasound education in the form of slide presentat! ions, videos, webinars and other scalable forms of learning
• St! rong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experienced with project management
• Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relations with all accounts
• Strong customer interface and training skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to travel 60% or more of the time
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Proficient in English written and spoken

Proficient written and spoken in additional languages as required region specific
