Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Department : Inpatient Units / Residential
Location : Waltham, MA
Major Responsibilities
Provides professional psychiatric care in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care
Coordinates and delegates with the nursing staff, utilizing the appropriate process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care
Accountable for assigned patients and responsible for promoting and enhancing professional psychiatric practice
Completes written and dictated documentation within acceptable specified timeframe
Minimum Qualifications
Experienced in inpatient and/or psychiatric/chemical dependency care, addressing the needs of patients
Experienced in integrating individual treatment approaches into treatment milieu, and good working relationships with other multidisciplinary staff
Must possess knowledge and skills compatible to an individual with board certification in psychiatry
Education
Graduate of an accredited school
