The Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse knows and understands the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Nursing and Surgical Nursing Services and provides for their implementation. The PAT Registered Nurse will demonstrate the ability to prov ide care relevant to the specific area to which he/she is normally assigned in accordance with the Nursing process.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and registration and current RN license required. CPR and IV certification needed; ACLS preferred. Two years' healthcare and surgical services experience required. Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to work with detailed, confidential material. Computer experience required.
