The Operations Coordinator assumes a generalist operational role with handling several important duties and responsibilities within the Medical Exams & Travel Department. The role communicates continuously with clients and authorized agencies both verbally and in writing to schedule and complete corporate health exams. Perform review utilizing medical standards provided the WorkCare Medical Director. Perform daily call center and administrative activities related to drug testing compliance, documentation and process control, and vendor issues.

- Friday and Saturday 11:00pm - 7:30am EST
We are anticipating a 2 week training period that would occur Monday-Friday during regular business hours.

We take our role in this protection process seriously. The Medical Exams & Travel team is dedicated to making sure exams and results are handled in an accurate, timely and secure way. Results from baseline and periodic exams provide comparisons to help identify and manage exposure risks before they result in injury or illness. A change in health status provides the information needed to develop workplace protections and targeted medical interventions.
- Responsible for scheduling and completion of corporate health exams. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Verify past medical records to authorize protocols for current exams.
- Maintain correct database of client, employees, and clinic information. Update as necessary.
- Review and process negative drug screens.
- Provide day to day customer support by answering emails and inbound calls including but not limited to scheduling, and follow-up.
- Manage the international provider network including expansion of the international network and follow-up on paperwork and invoices.
- Work closely with the MRO vendor, clients, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and time efficiency for all results.
- Request documentation from vendors, clinics, or clients as required to complete the review process.
- Review clinical documentation to ensure all necessary elements are present.
- Perform review utilizing medical standards provided the WorkCare Medical Director to ensure the medical services were completed appropriately and clearance can be issued.
- Escalates medical review per WorkCare guidelines.
- Meet deadlines and company goals.
- Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- -or- two to four years related experience and/or training
- -or- equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills
- Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.

Physical Demands
- Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk. Some bending and stretching required. Working under stress and use of telephone required. Manual dexterity required for use of calculator and computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
- The noise level is usually moderate.
- Air quality is good, and temperature is controlled.
- Work Environment must be free from background noise and distraction.
- At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy, and safety requirements.

- Home office must be in an enclosed private room with 4 walls.
- Home office must have a closed-door during business hours.
- Home office must be removed from normal foot traffic.
- During working hours no unauthorized personnel are allowed in the home office.
