Responsibilities:
How Will You Contribute to the Company?

The Systems Administrator will join the Cradlepoint & Ericom Infrastructure & Security team, aiding in the planning, build-out, security, and maintenance of the corporate infrastructure and facilities. Primary responsibilities include hardware and software support of onsite and offsite physical and virtual servers, operating system maintenance and support, application software maintenance and support, and network infrastructure maintenance and support.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to continuously design and implement improvements across our distributed IT infrastructure, supporting and enabling the organization’s business ventures.

Secondary responsibilities include assisting engineering and operations teams with maintaining customer-facing services and applications. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, require minimal supervision, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and be a team player with an “I Care” attitude. Occasional user support and periodic on-call duty including nights and weekends as required.

What Will You Do?

  • Implementation, and support of onsite and offsite physical and virtual servers
  • Support of onsite network hardware
  • Work with all departments to continuously design and implement and secure and improve systems
  • Monitor and update IT systems with the latest software patches and updates
  • Provide Tier II tech support for the Cradlepoint/Ericom Corporate Help Desk
  • Work closely with our Help Desk staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues reported to the Corporate Help Desk
  • When needed assist with support of LAN and WAN infrastructure
  • When needed, assist our Engineering and Operations teams with maintaining customer-facing services and applications
  • Occasional user support and availability after normal business hours as required
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least six (6) years of experience in the systems administration field of Information Technology
  • A degree, equivalent diploma, or years of experience in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • Relevant industry certifications including, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, Microsoft MCSE or MCITP, and VMware VC
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, Azure, O365, etc. technologies
  • Strong experience with MacOS management, imaging, patching, etc.
  • Experience with SAN management
  • Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experience with cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with audio/video and teleconferencing software
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management technologies
Bonus Points:

  • Experience in Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, sub-netting, etc.), protocols
  • Experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience with Enterprise wireless (Wi-Fi) technologies

Cradlepoint offers a competitive salary with a focus on a global market. For many roles, the compensation package includes annual and incremental incentive plans; certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
