Full-time. Includes at least 1 weekend per month.
DUTIES
Conduct assessments and admissions for home, nursing home, and hospital visits, describing and explaining hospice and home-care services to potential patients and families. Informs patient/family regarding financial obligations and insurance coverage using knowledge of fees, costs, and reimbursement sources. Explains Medicare benefits to patient/family; presents other third party insurance options. Using laptop computer, enters data into electonic medical record.
QUALIFICATIONS
RN licensed in Massachusetts. Hospice/homecare experience a plus. Excellent assessment skills. Experience and proficiency on computer a must. CPR certified.
