SUMMARY
Reporting to the Associate Chief Nurse for Medicine & Surger the Director for Infusion Serives will be responsible for the Infusion Center and Iv Therapy Teams at 2 acute care centers. The director will manage all front line staff and ensure common practice standards across the infusion service lines and IV teams as well operational oversight of workflows, regulatory compliance, staffing needs, education, interface with other RN staff, etc. This person will be responsible for ongoing program evaluation, performance improvement, serving in an operational liaison role with unit based leaders, and other duties as assigned, including representing NSMC on outside forums and system wide committees.

SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
To perform this job successfully within the scope of nursing, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to demonstrate any knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients serviced in his/her assigned department. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 3+ years critical care and/or specialty experience. Infusion experience strongly preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing BSN required. Masters preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION and/or REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Require a Current RN License in the State of Massachusetts
BLS certified required. ACLS preferred
INS certification required.
