This 653-bed teaching facility is a Level I trauma center and is the only hospital in Western Massachusetts with both a neonatal intensive care and pediatric intensive care units. This facility is also a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence and has been recognized by US News and World Reports as one of America’s Top Hospitals. Surprisingly, Springfield is also home to the western world’s largest collection of Chinese metal art in the G.W Vicent Smith Art museum. Springfield is conveniently located just 30 minutes outside Hartford, Connecticut and an hour and a half outside Boston. Springfield features a wide range of restaurants throughout the city and is known for its nightlife!
