Title NURSE MANAGER - AMBULATORY CARE CENTER - LONGWOOD Department Longwood MACC Shift Day Hours Per Week 40 City Boston State MA
Description Under administrative direction, is responsible 24-hours a day for the management of operations, patient care and human resource development for assigned unit through the utilization of assessment, planning, implementation and ealuation. Contributes to the department and hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational and research efforts and endeavors.
Please Note: This position will be located in our Medical Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) in Longwood opening in the Fall 2012. Requirements Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and baccalaureate degree in a related field, holding a Master's Degree or currently pursuing it.
Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts.
A minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including 2 years of management experience. Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas.
Demonstrates leadership activities; able to work under stressful situation; and possesses well developed verbal and written communication skills.
Membership in a professional nursing organization.
Prior Departmental start up preferred.
Ability to work in both Boston and Longwood required.
