Providing basic nursing care according to establish! ed standards of care considering age and developmental needs of the patient.
Assisting physicians with examinations and procedures.
Documenting and communicating accurate and timely information regarding the patient.
Reporting significant changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate person.
Providing basic instruction for patient regarding routine procedures, treatments, or disease processes.
Organizing and preparing of exam rooms, lab, and work areas including cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, checking equipment, and putting equipment away.
Providing telephone or in-person consultation under the direction and supervision of physician/supervisor according to protocol and AMG guidelines. General Qualifications
Advanced training beyond High School in Nursing.
Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
At least one year of LPN experience is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers ! certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). ! May obtain within 6 months based on department discretion.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and physicians.
Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic mail with exposure to electronic medical records systems. Desired Qualifications
One year of previous clinic experience preferred.
