CEO of Southgate at Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehab Center is

seeking a strong financial professional to join the Exec! utive Leadership Team.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Controller will report

to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the businesses. The Controller will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning,

implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of

Southgate at Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and

Shrewsbury Medical Center. The Controller will be accountable and responsible

to maintain internal policies and procedures to assure GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short

and long-term strategic financial objectives including capital expenditures

and company investments

• Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting departments

including but not limited to P&L, ! Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements

and Operating Bud! gets

• Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range financial planning,

initiates and manages robust financial analysis and strategies

• Maintains strong communication and relationship with leadership teams
• Manages effective financial forecasting for all businesses
• Provides recommendations to strategically strengthen financial performance
• Assures effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with

GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and

regulations for financial and tax reporting

• Manages all financial systems and policies to assure accuracy and timely

submission of information to CPA firms, banks and government agencies

• Develops and implement robust financial operating procedures and manual

Education & Qualifications

• BS degree with accounting or finance fo! cus, MBA desirable
• 7-10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership
• Nursing Home financial management Medicaid, Medicare experience required
• Senior Living Community financial management experience desired
• ADP Payroll

judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

Other Skills & Abilities:

• PC proficiency is essential Microsoft Windows Word Excel Access and

strong working knowledge and experience with FRX, Crystal Reports and

other report extraction software

Experience with (AOD) Answers on Demand Operating Software a plus
