The RN - Joint Center delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RN directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients! based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The RN utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care and contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
This is a 32 hour per week position.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Current CPR certification required. Additional unit-specific education requirements are outlined in the Addendum for each unit.
EXPERIENCE ! REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated excellent technical, interperso! nal, organizational, oral and written communication skills required. Additional unit-specific experience requirements are outlined in the Addendum for each unit.
