Assists nurse to provide first aide to students and staff. Qualifications•Minimum of a high schoo! l diploma•Completion of a certified nursing assistant program, preferred•Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills•Clerical proficiency and computer experience, including proficiency withMicrosoft Word and Excel•Basic First Aid, CPR, and hearing and vision screening training•Ability to maintain strict confidentialityResponsibilities•Conducts vision, hearing, and scoliosis screening•Assists with physical examinations•Reviews immunization records•Provides first aid to students and staff•Contacts persons of ill or injured students/staff•Triages ill/injured students and communicates needs to the building nurse•Assists with data entry •Files and prepares mailings•Other duties as assignedJob description available upon request.
