We are seeking a highly professional and organized patient appointment Scheduler with outstanding customer service and communication skills, including excellent writing skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively scheduling patient visits in a timely manner for clinical care, fittings and/or dispensing of equipment (DME) items
- Communicating scheduling information, answering questions, and providing internal support for HealthDrive Providers as appropriate
- Identifying gaps between Provider availability and patient needs
- Reviewing patient enrollment for assigned facilities, evaluating opportunities for growth; working with facilities and external ! sales team(s) to facilitate
- Managing communications b! etween facilities and HealthDrive
- Monitoring pipeline for DME in assigned facilities, work to assist in ensuring schedules minimize time to dispense
- Working with facilities to ensure HealthDrive Provider has appropriate work space for exams
- Maintaining HealthDrive Provider profiles to facilitate timely and effective scheduling
- Maintaining facility profiles to facilitate timely and effective scheduling
- Facilitating same day care, coordinating with appropriate departments, individuals and Providers as appropriate
- Coordinating and providing facility data to Sales team for all contract cancellations upon notification of cancellation
- Updating Managers/Supervisors with feedback from customers to improve services or provide recognition of staff members
- To qualify for this role the individual must have a minimum of an Associateâs degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be highly organized and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have outstanding customer service skills, be very comfortable on the phone, and have a highly professional and pleasant phone manner
- Must be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM
- Must be a creative problem solver and develop ethical, professional solutions for finding information, developing effective communication strategies and relationships
- Must be comfortable and effective working with both custom and âoff the shelfâ computer applications
- Must be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
