The Medical Assistant is an experienced, flexible professional, providing support to our busy oncology practice with direct patient care including phlebotomy. In this full-time role, you will provide coverage working with a great team of providers and staff, to provide compassionate care to our patients. Learn more about us at

Responsibilities
Takes patient history and conducts vital sign checks.
Prepares and maintains treatment rooms.
Assists physicians and nurses with minor diagnostic procedures.
Ensures that lab reports, x-rays and other information are in patient records. Performs routine tests such as phlebotomy, urine collection.
Keys data into the computer to maintain office and patient records.
Demonstrates courteous professional and cooperative behavior toward patients, visitors, coworkers and physicians in person and on the phone.
Manages physicia! n schedule. Supports and assists all physicians and clinical staff with patient flow.
Schedules referral/ancillary appointments and assists as needed on obtaining prior authorizations.
Qualifications
2 years of Medical Assistant experience with direct work performing phlebotomy required.
Professional demeanor with customer-service orientation, care and compassion.
Strong computer and typing skills.
