**This is a permanent part-time role with 19 hours per week. It offers the possibility of remote working within Germany with presence in the office as required (approx. 1 - 4 times/month).**

In the "TUI Group Domain and SSL Management & Online Brand Protection" team we are centrally assigned to the Group Legal (IP Legal, Domains & Licences) area and are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the TUI Group's digital assets in the areas of online brand protection, domains and TLS/SSL certificates. We look after the domain portfolios across the Group in advisory, administrative, technical and legal terms. In this context, we address and secure TUI's booking and financial systems, platforms, websites, communication tools and other IT infrastructures on a DNS-based and SSL-supported basis. The fight against cybercrime (e.g. fake accounts on all social media platforms, phishing, hacking, fraud, fake websites, damage to reputation, etc.) through legal and technical measures in the area of online brand protection is a particular focus of our team's area of expertise.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Consulting/legal services in the field of domain and digital strategy, domain consolidation, etc.
- Initiation of legal measures in the event of infringements in the area of online brand protection (trademark complaints, take-down processes, etc.)
- Legal representation/enforcement of UDRP proceedings (Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy) at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
- Legal advice, development and implementation of transnational domain strategies, also in the context of M&A projects
- Worldwide domain acquisition with the help of legal remedies/prosecution as well as acquisition processes by means of direct or indirect purchase
- Contract negotiation with partners as well as conclusion of cooperation and service contracts
- Digitalisation of processes, reporting and documentation
- Cooperation with other areas of the Group, in particular with Group Legal, Compliance, IT Security, Fraud Management, Social Media Teams etc.
- In absence of colleagues support in all work areas of the team.
ABOUT YOU
- Completed studies in the legal field
- Ideally several years of professional experience in the areas of intellectual property and online brand protection
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Goal-oriented and customer-focused way of working
- Solid IT competence combined with high problem-solving and consulting skills, strong personal integrity and credibility
- Experience in agile working environments and flexible office desirable
