JOB SUMMARY
Identifies, plans, runs and implements revenue cycle reengineering solutions for BSW. Works with BSW revenue cycle departments including, but not limited to HIM, Access Services, Centralized Business Services, Charge Description Master and various clinical departments to improve operation efficiency and revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Drive revenue cycle departments in the data-backed components of workflow redesign. Identifies, creates and implements improvement solutions for BSW revenue cycle related departments.
- Monitor the performance of revenue cycle activities utilizing current monitoring tool sets and performance metrics.
- Creates and implements new performance metrics to address and manage new performance issues.
- Drive revenue cycle department activities including, but not limited to charge capture, technology planning, staffing assessments, operational improvement strategies and workflow optimization.
- Drive revenue cycle improvement activities between BSW Corporate departments and BSW facilities.
- Facilitate revenue cycle improvement communications across the revenue cycle.
- Examine and identify trends in revenue cycle operations.
- Use data to develop and implement process redesign solutions.
- Assess the current capabilities of IT revenue cycle systems and create and head implementation of innovative revenue cycle IT solutions.
- Develop revenue cycle training tools and manage revenue management educational activities for BSW revenue cycle departments.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- Project management experience with proven communication, mathematical, organizational and implementation skills.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle operation.
- Healthcare consulting experience preferred.
