Currently Staff Nurse who will utilize the nursing process to provide direct and excellent quality of care to the residents w! hile maintain superb communication between residents, families, and other health professionals. Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to maximize quality of life for residents. Fosters a team like environment while supervising other health care providers in meeting the daily needs of residents.
Other responsibilties may include:
1. Giving shift report to on coming staff
2. Provide clinical/supervisory oversight to assigned unit during shift
3. Delagate assignments to team assigned to shift
4. Initiate necessary reports including DPH, incident reports, concern resolutions
5. Assure completion of admission or discharges during shift
6. Attend rounds (wound, physician etc)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an R.N.
- Six months nursing experience preferred in a long term care, subacute rehab and/or! acute care setting.
- Computer literacy required; expe! rience with databases, Windows, Word, Excel, and databases
