The Early Intervention program provides assessment and interventions for families with children up to three years of age who have, or are at risk of, developmental delay due to biologica! l, medical or environmental factors. Services include eligibility screening, developmental assessment, home visits, parent/child groups, toddler groups, parent education groups, parent counseling, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and health education and information, referral and advocacy.

 Master’s Degree
 Massachusetts license
 Two years experience working with infants, toddlers and families
 Experience and/or training in a social service agency, day care, health care facility, or early childhood education facility and/or special training in infant/neonatal/childcare practice.
Essential Responsibilities
- Using approved normed instrument, provide ! developmental screening, assessment and evaluation for Early I! ntervention (EI) child(ren) as part of multidisciplinary/ transdisciplinary team to determine eligibility for EI services;
- As part of Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) with parents/guardians and EI team, develop and implement appropriate treatment plan utilizing appropriate program and community resources;
- Provide services within the child(ren’s) and family’s natural environment, training and educating caregivers on infant and child development and behavior management;
- Document children’s development;
- Assist family in obtaining necessary internal and external community services to facilitate child(ren)’s growth and development.
