Devereux Massachusetts is currently seeking a Register Nurse. The role of a Registered Nurse is to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate all professional nursing care to clients within assigned group. Thi! s position participates actively in treatment plans and develops and implements programs in the area of preventative medicine.
In this position you will be responsible for implementing proactive measures to identify, intervene and manage risks that potentially impact the safety of our environment. You will also deliver nursing care in a safe and effective manner that adheres to our internal and external regulatory practices.
You will add value by:
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to professional standards.
- Implementing regulatory guidelines established internally.
- Promoting positive goal-directed responses and/or social interactions from the student and facilitates the psychotherapeutic goals of treatment.
- Hold a current license by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
- Have minimun two years of experience in a relat! ed field of nursing.
- Have minimun one year of experie! nce working with children and adolescents with special needs.
- Have a strong passion for working with and helping children with special needs.
