Position Summary The Software Engineer develops, tests, implements and maintains software applications and integration processes in a team environment. Development projects are varied with focus on business services, E-Commerce and Help Desk applications. This pers! on works closely with customer resources to conceptualize solu! tions as well as develop user interface and workflow configurations.
Responsibilities Contribute to the functional design and architecture of many high priority projects. Act as software developer on a variety of development tasks. Support project deployments Interface with multiple business owners regarding project health and milestones. Estimate tasks prior to development Present design for solutions to team prior to coding.
Develop application to specifications provided Unit test and verify code works prior to sending to QA. Design, maintain, and implement SQL based middle-tier architecture. Define and coordinate requirements with management, staff, and customers as needed. Required Skills Qualified candidates must have previous experience developing in an IDE, Visual StudioEclipse with .NETC or Java, with database experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (or higher).
Must have experience with JavaScript. Ideal applicant will have 1-2 years of! experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal and writtenverbal communication skills are essential. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethics and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively under critical time frames with maturity, dependability and a great attitude.
Primary Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a computer-related field, or equivalent work experience 1-2 years of software development in a .NetJava environment with JavaScript and SQL experience Solid understanding of CVB.Net or Java. Working knowledge of JavaScript. Working knowledge of SQL Server. Good troubleshooting skills Exposure to source control practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting. Additional Skills (Not Required) Service Now API Microsoft SharePoint Development Microsoft CRM Development IDE, Visual Studio/Eclipse with .NET/C# or Java, Microsoft SQL Server 2005,JavaScript, C#/VB.Net, SQ! L Server
