CCS Nurse Manager
Location: Boston Massachusetts
Description: Bay Cove Human Services is presently looking of CCS Nurse Manager right now, this position will be placed in Massachusetts. Provides regular direction and supervision for the Nurses, Clinicians, Administrative Assistant, and Mental Health Workers, interviews and hires staff as needed.
Oversee the clinical, behavior! al, and medical treatment and course of stay for CCS clients. Ensures that medical assessment, treatment planning, interventions, and referrals are routinely documented and reviewed by staff in accordance with BCHS, DMH, BMC, MBHP, and BEST.
Oversee insurance authorizations, reviews, billing, utilization rate, and length of stay to meet program outcomes.
Oversee the completion of accurate programmatic documentation such as emergency reports, medication ordering and tracking, incident reports, and other assigned documentation.
Maintains effective working relationships with insurers, MMHC campus police, DMH, BMC, BEST, local community resources, and treatment/rehabilitation programs throughout the Greater Boston community.
Oversee financial and budgetary procedures including petty cash and payroll.
Reviews trends of the program by developing tracking systems for utilization, completion of treatment goals, client satisfaction, number and type of incidents, ! and outcome measures in order to meet program goals.
Ensur! es that safety protocols are routinely reviewed and followed consistently by all staff (such as emergency systems; identification and remedy of facility safety hazards; security systems; lock up of sharps and any potential toxins; hazardous waste management; checks protocols, checking vitals protocols, etc)
Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years nursing experience in the delivery of behavioral health services to adults and/or children and adolescents
5 years of supervisory and managerial experience
Current certification in CPR
