Position Description:
Boston, MA - The Endo! Capsule Associate Sales Representative will be responsible for driving EndoCapsule (EC) sales in a defined territory. The incumbent will work in conjunction with the EndoCapsule National Sales Director to sell EndoCapsule products in targeted accounts; primarily hospitals and high volume physician offices. He/She will also focus on converting Olympusâ existing customer base to the next generation products. The incumbent will drive the sales overall process. He/She will coordinate and perform demonstrations at the customerâs facility and support our Technical Trainers during installation and training. The incumbent will also support the primary trade shows, conferences, courses, and workshops throughout the year that showcase the EndoCapsule product line. EOE M/F/D/V
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales quota in EndoCapsule sales in assigned territory in compliance with Olympus MSG Corporate and Compliance policies.
- Act as clinical & technical product expert to support all stakeholders within a facility â" nurses, technicians, physicians, IT personnel, materials manager, etc.
- Work with existing customers to smoothly transition facilities to future generation technology.
- Drive EndoCapsule utilization within accounts.
- Conduct business reviews with key facility members to insure customers are compliant with contract agreements to ensure contract compliance.
- Drive adoption of service contracts.
- Work the EAMs and MSD Territory Managers to identify opportunities to increase EndoCapsule market share.
- Build and maintain sustainable strategic relationships in targeted accounts.
- Coordinate and support the technical trainers during installation and training.
- Complete and submit all administrative responsibilities accurate! ly and on time (CRM, expense reports, and PTO).
- Report market ! intelligence to the marketing department of competitorsâ new product offerings, pricing strategies and merchandizing practices in the assigned territory.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed by the AVPs and home office.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent knowledge, is required.
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in sales, clinical support, customer support, or marketing.
- Must be comfortable with a field based position.
- Extensive travel (up to 80%) is required.
- Previous business or clinical experience in the GI field is preferred.
- Knowledge of gastroenterology and/or good understanding of endoscopic technology and clinical procedures are preferred.
- Must have excellent! computer skills, verbal and written communication, self awareness and customer focus.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and educate physicians, nursing and support personnel.
