POSITION FUNCTION
The Patient Engagement Lead is responsible for managing a team of Patient Engagement Coordinators, Patient Navigators and Screening Coordinators, and assisting with implementing the recruitment and retention strategies of subjects in assigned therapeutic area studies across Centricity Research. The Patient Engagement Lead will work with the Regional Site Leads/Managers, Marketing and other Research personnel to meet enrollment targets and applicable objectives. This is a remote opportunity with the ability to travel to sites as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performance manage respective team in all tasks assigned, i.e. ad caller metrics, database calls & community outreach efforts- Responsible for position-specific onboarding and training for Patient Engagement Coordinators, Patient Navigators and Screening Coordinators
- Mentor Patient Engagement Coordinators and Patient Navigators to ensure effective recruitment and retention i.e., job shadowing/1:1’s
- Implement study start up initiatives & media plans for upcoming studies to ensure enrollment targets are met, and provide appropriate metrics to sponsors
- Alongside marketing team, create marketing and community outreach campaigns and monitor enrollment results
- Centralize chart screening or provide support for sites if needed
- Support the creation, review, and approval of all recruitment material i.e., patient letters, radio & paper advertisements, social media campaigns, study cheat sheets, fax, or email blasts to ensure materials are ready prior to study start
- Ensure query review is completed by central or site teams; support optimization of query accuracy and implement strategies to improve percentage of eligible candidates
- Streamline Ad Caller Database; assessment of return on investment on marketing initiatives and seek additional funding from sponsors as needed
- Manage Ad Caller platforms (e.g., Autocruitment), provide timely updates, bring recruitment challenges to sponsor as necessary.
- Establish physician community outreach campaigns to identify potential sources of new patients for site trial recruitment
- Willing to travel and support all Centricity sites
- Assist the Executive Director, Patient Insights and Engagement and/or Investigators with any other research tasks as required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Minimum 2-4 years Clinical Research Experience
- Experience in people management or 2-4 years working with Centricity Research
- Experience working in Marketing/Sales
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in a clinical research program
- ACRP certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting, light lifting, standing, reaching, walking, and bending.- Frequently required to complete work on the computer in a seated position

WORKING CONDITIONS
Modern medical office environment or home environment- Required to follow all healthcare industry OHSA and OSHA guidelines
- Required to perform duties in relation to PHIPA, HIPAA, PIDEDA
- Some positions may require overnight/weekend hours
