Eliot’s Adult Mental Health Division provides an integrated and comprehensive network of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities that promote consumer rights, responsibilities, rehabilitation, and recovery. We provide rehabilitative services that enable people to increase functioning in the living, working, and social environments of their choice.
Eliot is currently seeking a strong, experienced Team Leader for our PACT Team in Danvers. The Team Leader must have demonstrated leadership experience with at excellent supervisory skills. The qualified candidate will have proven expereince in community-based work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Must have demonstrated knowledge of consumer empowerment, consumer recovery and dual diagnosis. Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with a variety of employees and providers, possessing extensive experience working with funding sources and community resources.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a multidiscplianry team of clinicians.
Provide emergency twenty-four hour on-call back-up assistance to staff members who are on-call to clients.
Lead and participate in treatment planning meetings on a weekly basis through written documentation and clinical discussions.
Provide and oversee treatment to clients served by the team.
Ensure that staff provides side by side interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
Requirements
Qualifications: Must be a licensed clinician in Massachusetts with at least a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, nursing, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychology or is a psychiatrist. Must have strong clinical skills, with at least 3 years of experience in treating adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Demonstrated leadership experience with at least 2 years supervisory experience in community-based work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer empowerment, consumer recovery and dual diagnosis. Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with a variety of employees and providers, possessing extensive experience working with funding sources and community resources. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
