Hebrew SeniorLife, the largest provider of elder care in the Boston area has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT! ) to join their Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team!
This is a full-time OT position in the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), on our Recuperative Services Unit (RSU)! The successful incumbent will understand the importance of our patients’ dignity and right of choice in their daily life.

Responsibilities Include:
- Administer diagnostic testing procedures to assess the extent of patient/resident impairment and the prognosis for improvement
- Establish a plan of care to address identified impairments; to set objective! and measureable short and long term treatment goals
- ! Use evidence-based treatment methods, continuously assess patient’s response and modifying/progressing treatments accordingly
- Provide objective, precise, and timely documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and information regarding units of service
- Direct and supervise supportive personnel in delegated tasks; assess competence of supportive personnel to perform assigned tasks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
- New Graduates are Welcome; SNF experience preferred
- Excellent Organizational, Analytical and Communication Skills Needed
- Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change
- Computer Literacy Required
