For detail informations about this occupation opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Nurses â€"Internal Medicine ( 40 hrs) M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm. Is responsible for nurse triage; assessment, evaluation & treatment as outlined in Nursing Tri! age protocols. Will manage anticoagulation patients, BP checks, immunizations/travel injections, suture removal, and wound care. Will restock and provide code cart medication and supplies, order and dispose of medication and monitor expiration dates.
Responsible for IV insert and therapy, diabetic and patient teaching. Complete paperwork including record documentation for MD’s, patient and school forms, and travel records. Handle VNA and outside agency referrals and coordinate home health care. Must have 1-3 years experience in an ambulatory setting with strong telephone triage experience.
Under the direction of the physician, must be able to make sound and accurate clinical decisions and complete patient notes in an EMR. Excellent communication and triage skills are necessary. Current MA RN with ACLS and CPR certification is necessary. Knowledge of EMR is preferred.
