Description: Health Career Associates is currently seeking to employ Clinical Documentation Improvement Coordinator (CDIP) right now, this occupation will be placed in Massachusetts.   • Functions as the coordinator of appropriate resources for
the achievement of maximal clinical and financial patient outcomes.

  • Collects data related to processes of care.
  • Functions as the role of clinician, consultant, advocate,
educator and researcher for assigned areas.

This position is a night position, 11PM-7AM; 28 Hours/Week.

OUR CLIENT
Our client is a Level I Trauma Center and is the largest
academic medical center in the area.
They are a leader in the community, serving a wide range of patient
populations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree and Massachusetts licensure as a
registered nurse required

  • Five (5) years experience in adult inpatient Med-Surg, Critical
Care, ER

  • Utilization Review Experience required; Case management
experience preferred

  • Three to Five years experience using Interqual criteria in
determining level of care for patients; experience with concurrent and
retrospective review of patient care and documentation related to level of care
determination; experience with auditing records for compliance with law,
regulation, standards and rules for reimbursement; experience in utilization
review for acute care settings, experience working ! in a fast paced team
environment

  • The ability to use specialized computer based systems for
the gathering, reporting and analysis of clinical data. Excellent interpersonal skills to develop
relationships necessary to influence physician documentation processes. Analytic skills necessary to clinically
assess medical records. Good
organization and time management skills.
Ability to walk and stand 80% of the time. Ability to travel between campuses.
