- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, or industrial premises to identify pests, determine the extent of infestation, and assess factors contributing to the problem.
- Identify the type of pests present, such as insects (e.g., ants, termites, bed bugs), rodents (e.g., mice, rats), or wildlife (e.g., birds, raccoons).
- Develop customized pest management plans based on the specific pest infestation, considering factors such as the severity of the problem, client preferences, and applicable regulations.
- Safely handle, store, and transport pest control equipment and chemicals, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe disposal of waste materials.
- Maintain and service pest control equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging pests, and new pest control techniques through training and professional development opportunities.
