Coordinator of School Nurses
This position is accountable for the direction, leadership, supervis! ion and evaluation of the Worcester Public Schools‘ Nursing Program. Primary responsibilities include: working with directors/coordinators under the direction of the Manager of Special Education and Intervention Services; collaborating with educators/health providers within the school system and the community; providing professional development programs regarding health issues; and responsible for arranging/planning for the scheduling of school physicians and the otologist for school visits and clinic services: Requirements include: a Registered Nurse who possesses 5+ years experience working and 3+ years supervising in a pediatric or school setting; Eligibility for Mass DESE licensure, and a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health related field or Educational Administration.
